摘要: Transesophageal echocardiography allows the evaluation of proximal coronary artery anatomy and blood flow velocity (CBFV). To assess potential transesophageal in evaluating CBFV its variations induced by coronary-active drugs, we studied 15 patients high-quality pulsed wave Doppler recordings CBFV. In these patients, was performed before, 2 minutes after cessation dipyridamole infusion (0.56 mg/kg 4 minutes), aminophylline (240 mg injected infusion). The following parameters were evaluated at each three steps study protocol: maximal mean diastolic velocities systolic velocities. Furthermore, indexes reserve evaluated: ratio between recorded before administration administration. Nine had a normal left anterior descending (group A), whereas remaining six significant (less than or equal to 75%) stenosis B). group A all increased significantly during returned near baseline values infusion. B on other hand, none Dipyridamole/baseline ratios were, respectively, 3.22 +/- 0.96 3.04 0.88 1.46 0.45 (p less 0.01 versus A) 1.48 0.49 patients.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
