摘要: Point Laser Triangulation (PLT) probes are relatively new noncontact being integrated with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Two prominent advantages of PLT fast measuring speeds (typically 100 to 1000 times faster than touch probes) and no contact force is required take measurements making soft or fragile objects measurable, These have motivated the integration onto CMM. However, because probe an electro-optics device, many factors related optics affect its Operation, such as sensor-to-surface orientation surface reflectivity. To study better understand these error sources, models needed simulate observed measurement errors. This article presents a model, which simulates errors shows effects placement internal components. model combination component developed usin g geometrical optics. The successfully from specular reflection experimentally real probes. also allows parameters components be studied.
