摘要: Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis) is a microorganism that can survive extreme challenges in obturated root canals. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma plume against E. vitro. A jet device which could generate cold carrying peak current 300 mA used. antibacterial and its biofilm under different conditions detected. Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) also evaluated. After treatment, average diameter inhibition zone on S. 2.62±0.26 cm 1.06±0.30 cm, respectively (P < 0.05). increased with prolongation treatment duration. diameters sealed Petri dishes were larger than those uncovered dishes. There significant difference colony-forming units between group control 0.01). transmission electron microscopy revealed ultrastructural changes cytoderm observed after for 2 min. It concluded serve as an effective adjunct standard endodontic microbial treatment.
