摘要: Evidence from animal experiments shows that the brain stem is involved in pathophysiology of migraine. To investigate human migraine, we used positron emission tomography to examine changes regional cerebral blood flow as an index neuronal activity during spontaneous migraine attacks. During attacks, increased was found hemispheres cingulate, auditory and visual association cortices stem. However, only activation persisted after injection sumatriptan had induced complete relief headache phono- photophobia. These findings support idea pathogenesis related imbalance between nuclei regulating antinociception vascular control.
