摘要: Hyperpolarized 129Xe (HpXe) NMR not only holds promise for functional lung imaging, but measurements of tissue perfusion as well. To investigate human brain perfusion, several time-series MR spectra were recorded from one healthy volunteer after HpXe inhalation. The time-dependent amplitudes the analyzed by using a compartment model xenon uptake modified to account loss polarization due RF-excitation and breathhold technique used in experiments. This analysis suggests that resonances detected at 196.5 ± 1 ppm 193 originate dissolved gray white matter, respectively, T1 relaxation times are different matter (T1g > T1w).
