摘要: The Canoparmelia texana epiphytic lichenized fungi was used to monitor atmospheric pollution in the Sao Paulo metropolitan region, SP, Brazil. cluster analysis applied element concentration values confirmed site groups of different levels due industrial and vehicular emissions. In distribution maps concentrations, higher concentrations Ba Mn were observed vicinity industries a petrochemical complex. highest Co found lichens from Miguel Paulista is emissions metallurgical processing plant that produces this element. For Br Zn, could be associated both Exploratory analyses revealed accumulation toxic elements C. may use evaluating human risk cardiopulmonary mortality prolonged exposure ambient air pollution.
