Simulation of a turbulent channel flow with an entropic Lattice Boltzmann method

摘要: The Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is used to simulate turbulent channel flow. Two simulations are performed. One uses high enough grid resolution in order for it be considered a direct numerical simulation (DNS). LBM its traditional form adopted this simulation. other lower which the original becomes unstable. An entropy condition render stable. Results from these two experiments compared with results DNS performed techniques. It concluded that can as tool flows and stabilized schemes achieve accurate reasonably low resolution.
