摘要: Chronic daily headache accounts for a significant socioeconomic burden due to decreased productivity, work absenteeism, multiple office and ER visits, hospital admissions pain control. Associated comorbidities add this cost. Current traditional medical therapies may fail provide adequate relief leading the search use of other therapeutic modalities such as innovative devices. It is in setting urgent demand better control assimilate chronic sufferers back into society that variety neuromodulatory approaches have been emerging. This review aims familiarize reader with current literature regarding supraorbital supratrochlear nerve stimulation headache, point out advantages approach, address unanswered questions about subject, highlight future directions.
