摘要: Alkali-activated materials (AAMs) represent a promising alternative to conventional building and ceramics. Being produced in large amounts as aluminosilicate-rich secondary products, such slags, they can be utilized for the formulation of AAMs. Slags are partially crystalline metallurgical residues during high temperature separation metallic non-metallic steelmaking processes. In present study, electric arc furnace carbon or stainless steel slag (EAF) ladle basic (LS) were used precursors an alkali-activation process. EAF slag, with its amorphous fraction about 56%, presented higher contents soluble Si Al species respect R (35%). However, both suitable produce AAM. The leaching behavior shows that all release values below regulation limit. All bivalent ions (Ba, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) well immobilized geopolymeric matrix, while amphoteric elements, As Cr, show slight increase corresponding alkaline aqueous environments. particular, Sb AAM, still remains limits, Mo presents slightly exceeds limit landfill non-dangerous waste.
