摘要: Abstract The clinical and clinicopathological findings of a one month old Holstein heifer calf presented with severe abdominal distention are reported. Preoperative evaluation therapy were initiated followed by an exploratory laparotomy (paracostal right flank) which revealed 360° counterclockwise torsion (viewed from the rear) abomasum. Severe vascular compromise abomasum precluded salvage animal. Following euthanasia postmortem evaluation, was found to have irreversible changes within
