摘要: Abstract Pinch Analysis is a widely used technique for resource conservation. It minimizes the requirement of external through efficient use internally available sources. These networks are designed based on flow and quality parameters internal sources demands. However, applicable only linear problems fails if problem becomes non-linear under certain conditions. The uncertainty in parameter allocation one such situation where non-linear. considered to be normally distributed with known mean standard deviation incorporate uncertainty. In case, load constraint probabilistic, which conversion its deterministic equivalent using chance-constrained programming, previous works adopted conservative approach linearize solve it Analysis. This leads higher value than targeted formulation. difference requirements, obtained from two formulations, can extremely high cases. this work, an iterative methodology proposed bridge gap between formulations that helps reducing while maintaining desired demand reliability. An approximated solved each iteration reach optimal resource. work extends applicability source-sink constraints. has been demonstrated three different examples.
