摘要: ABSTRACT This work analyzes the main characteristics of hemicellulose alkali and peroxide/alkali extracted from sugar cane bagasse precipitated by 1:1 ethanol/liquor ratio studies influence chemical charge on these characteristics. It also evaluates film forming capacity hemicelluloses when they are combined in a polyelectrolyte complex with chitosan. Extraction conditions were determinant glucuronic acid to xylose arabinose ratio. The density xylan, determined titration at pH 7.0, showed linear relation content. Xylans low polydispersity acceptable molecular weight obtained all cases. Hemicellulose-based films (70% xylan) without addition plasticizer or crosslinking agent, through controlled formation complexes, flexible mechanical properties. highest stress strain break (19.1 MPa 10.7%, respectively) corresponded weight, no peroxide addition.
