摘要: Total parenteral nutrition is used for nutritional support in patients undergoing orthotopic liver transplantation but associated with complications. We compared the efficacy and tolerability of early enteral feeding total after transplantation. 24 were studied: 14 received 10 nutrition. A double-lumen tube was to deliver feed directly into jejunum second lumen being gastric aspiration. Enteral started post-operatively within 18 h, well-tolerated, comparable The median number days start eating (4) achieve 70% estimated requirements orally (5) did not differ significantly between two groups. Mid-arm circumference, triceps skinfold thickness, biceps thickness were, by comparison pre-operative values, maintained on tenth postoperative day both Early absorptive capacity, as assessed a combined carbohydrate test, reduced groups insufficiently be concern. Intestinal mucosal integrity, an intestinal permeability throughout. conclude that practical aspects are surmountable effective at maintaining status nutrition, has potential benefits terms complications costs.
