摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the insulin-stimulated phosphorylation of actin by human placental insulin receptor preparations. The contains stimulatable tyrosine-specific protein kinase activity that catalyzes autophosphorylation 95,000 Mr subunit, and several exogenous proteins such as casein, histone, others. Phosphorylation these proteins, however, does occur mainly at serine residues and, hence, cannot be directly related to receptor-associated kinase, which itself is specific for tyrosine phosphorylation. main methods used in process are standard assay SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Although physiological significance findings remains established, it can said actin, represents a ubiquitous constituent plasma membranes, appears more likely natural substrate than other known so far.
