摘要: The narrow paramagnetic resonance in a photolyzed 3‐methylpentane system at 77°K, previously assigned tentatively to the ``solvated'' electron, is characterized and carbon dioxide radical anion. ionization potential of CO2− bracketed between 2.3 2.9 eV. A hyperfine splitting 122 G obtained for species 13CO2−, value −0.32 calculated coefficient 2s atomic orbital 4a1 (C2v) molecular CO2−.
