摘要: Full-duplex relaying is more spectrally efficient than half-duplex as only one channel use needed per two hops. However, it crucial to minimize relay self-interference render full duplex feasible. For this purpose, we analyze a broad range of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) mitigation schemes: natural isolation, time-domain cancellation, and spatial suppression. Cancellation subtracts replicated interference signal from the input while suppression reserves dimensions for receive transmit filtering. Spatial can be achieved by antenna subset selection, null-space projection, i.e., receiving transmitting in orthogonal subspaces, or joint beam selection support streams choosing minimum eigenmodes overlapping subspaces. In addition, mean square error (MMSE) filtering employed maintain desired quality, which inherent combination time- spatial-domain processing may better either alone. Targeting at minimal power, solve optimal filters each scheme cases joint, separate independent design. The performance schemes evaluated compared simulations. results confirm that mitigated effectively also presence imperfect side information.
