摘要: Transmission electron microscopy has been used to determine that the strengthening precipitate in Incoloy 903 is γ′ (Ni3 (Al, Ti)), with no evidence of γ″ (NixNb), although latter reported. In addition, alloy does not undergo a martensitic transformation when quenched 4 K solution treated or aged conditions. Aged tensile specimens charged 1200 at. ppm hydrogen exhibited ductility losses compared uncharged specimens. The hydrogen-charged failed ductile manner, fracture being characterized by finer dimple size than observed loss shown be function reduction (expressed as ratio without hydrogen) and can explained terms accelerated nucleation due accumulation at particles.
