摘要: Abstract The demand for recovered materials affects the profitability of recycling processes and at same time is susceptible to changes in external factors such as resource prices. Therefore, variability parameters should be considered, when designing a system. In this study, we develop framework variability-based optimal design plastic constructing robust system over market fluctuations material subject study sorting facility post-consumer plastics equipped with automated machines. gross operating profit (GOP) formulated based on process model facility, internal recovery ratios sales prices by resin type. By combining integer programming Monte Carlo simulation, obtain potential solutions that can maximize GOP depending their correlations between types, which are estimated statistics interval 2007 2011. Distributions visualized according import price naphtha supporting decision-makers determine types recovered. Based results, recommend solution where polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene Moreover, recommended validated observed type 2012 2014.
