摘要: Momentary and sustained power interruptions are some of the most difficult important quality problems facing many industrial commercial users. Battery energy storage systems (BESS) have potential to provide versatile solutions this problem for utility, applications. This paper describes design commissioning a 5 MVA, 2.5 MWh BESS which is now in operation at GNB Recycling Plant Vernon, California. The Vernon provides required combined with both voltage frequency control allow plant tolerate disconnection from utility grid without suffering unacceptable impacts on critical loads.
