摘要: Natural fibres have a high potential as reinforcement of polymer matrices, they combine specific strength and modulus with sustainable production reasonable prices. Modifying the fibre surface is common method to increase adhesion thereby enhance mechanical properties composites. In this study, novel treatment presented: fungal enzyme laccase was utilised aim covalently binding coupling agent dopamine flax surfaces. The goal improve interfacial towards an epoxy matrix. SEM AFM micrographs showed that modification changes morphology, indicating deposition on surface. Fibre tensile tests, which were performed check whether structure damaged during treatment, no decrease in or occurred. Single pullout tests 30% shear (IFSS) due laccase-mediated bonding dopamine. These results demonstrate + modifies sustainably increases epoxy.
