摘要: Objectives. We examined how National Cancer Institute–funded Community Network Programs (CNPs) operationalized principles of community-based participatory research (CBPR). Methods. reviewed the literature and extant CBPR measurement tools. On basis that review, we developed a 27-item questionnaire for CNPs to selfassess their operationalization 9 principles. Our team comprised representatives Institute’s 25 CNPs. Results. Of CNPs, 22 (88%) completed questionnaire. Most scored well on recognizing community as unit identity, building strengths, facilitating colearning, embracing iterative processes in developing capacity, achieving balance between data generation intervention. varied extent which they employed addressing determinants health, sharing power among partners, engaging dissemination, striving sustainability.
