摘要: Plants of the family Clusiaceae or Guttiferae, in articular those belonging to genera Clusia, and Garcinia, produce a series oxidized polyisoprenylated benzophenone derivatives, some which are structurally complex biologically active. From biogenetic point view, these compounds may be considered as benzophenones acetate derived benzene ring is modified by intervention isoprenyl groups. Several compound this class have shown wide range biological activity such antimicrobial, antifungal, anticarcinogenic anti-HIV inhibitory activities. In chapter we shall review chemistry derivatives isolated from Vismia, Allanblackia, Moronobea, Symphonia, Hypericum, Tovomita, Tovomiptosis Ochrocarpus.
