摘要: Abstract High-resolution tunable laser measurements of rovibrational line shapes in Ar-broadened HF [A.S. Pine, J. Chem. Phys. , 1994, 101 3444] have shown the need partially correlated Dicke narrowing models to accurately describe observed asymmetries. A strong collision model accounting for both velocity- and state-changing mechanisms (VCD) phase-changing ones (D), is presented. The resulting shape justifies, on a physical basis, empirical previously used interpret features. present collisional leads clearer interpretation characteristic parameters determined from experiment HF–Ar. Further theoretical calculations experiments show that residual discrepancies first lines cannot be attributed speed dependence parameters.
