摘要: The invention provides a process for producing alcohol from cellulosic material, said comprising: hydrolyzing material with an aqueous acid to produce hydrolysate; extracting and water hydrolysate water-miscible organic extraction solvent yield (a) first acidic solution containing (b) residue sugars; subjecting oligosaccharide cleavage reaction of fermentable fermenting sugars distilling the resulting fermented mixture; contacting pressurized fluid lipophilic in non-gaseous form, which is substantially water-immiscible gaseous at ambient conditions, second mixture solvent; depressurizing release recycling; and, optionally, concentrating recycling.
