摘要: Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is characterized by infection and inflammation of the upper genital tract in women can cause significant reproductive health sequelae for women. Although a definitive diagnosis PID made laparoscopic visualization inflamed, purulent fallopian tubes, generally clinical thus represents diagnostic challenge. Therefore, treatment algorithms advise high index suspicion any woman age with pelvic or abdominal pain. Antibiotic therapy should be started early, given an adequate period time to reduce risk complications. Coverage anaerobic organisms considered most cases.
