摘要: Abstract: Of a wide variety of international forest research and monitoring networks, several networks are dedicated to the effects climate change on forests, while anthropogenic pollutants forests have been major area for both decades. The large amounts data already obtained within existing programmes large-scale projects can be used increase understanding state potential mitigation adaptation in polluted environment, challenge now is evaluate integrate presently available databases. We present meta-database with main goal highlight information about selected European Research Monitoring Networks (ERMNs). Depending ERMNs, list variables measurement units differ widely As result, activities related identification, evaluation integration databases important scientific community. Furthermore, equally important, recognition current knowledge gaps future needed made easier. This analysis suggests that: ground-level ozone under-investigated, although it one greatest concern forests; addition CO2, long-term other greenhouse gasses (GHG) flux measurements should carried out; there still need improving links between atmospheric changes impacts research-oriented manipulative experiments missing.
