摘要: This article presents a theoretically based narrative analysis of conversations held with six women in South Africa who position themselves as mothers disabled children. We examine the dominant socio-cultural narratives that impact lives they enact motherhood, and counter-narratives emerge process. Three key themes are discussed: struggle, resiliency agency; motherhood intersections personal histories, spirituality Ubuntu; economics politics negotiating access to social benefits, including early intervention education. The study highlights contextual, situated diverse nature child contexts education care.
