摘要: Supporting public participation is often a key goal in the design of digital government systems. However, years work may be required before complex system, such as UrbanSim urban simulation deployed and ready for participation. In this paper, we investigate laying foundations information sharing advance wide-scale deployment, with having interaction designs when system put into use. Moreover, highly politicized domain one, value advocacy well factual plays central role. Using theory methods Value Sensitive Design, address three goals toward advocacy, provide evidence that each them was achieved: (1) enabling indirect stakeholders to become direct (i.e. more people interact directly useful ways); (2) developing participatory process by which these can help guide development itself; (3) participating organizations engage while at same time enhancing overall legitimation.
