摘要: Abstract The main purpose of this study is to develop low thermal conductivity particleboards with optimized durian peel and coconut coir mixture ratio. To end, two parameters were investigated, namely, the ratio (by weight) board density. prepared following common manufacturing technique. It was observed density affect properties final considerably. optimum 10:90 weight), respectively, a 856 kg/m 3 . corresponding are as follows: 0.1342 W/m K , modulus rupture (MOR) 440.46 kgf/cm 2 elasticity (MOE) 21,867 internal bond 37.25 10.49% thickness swelling, 6.22% moisture content. Comparison or coconut-based confirmed that manufactured using them have better properties, except elastic (MOE), which decreased. new lower conductivity, extremely interesting for energy saving when used ceiling wall insulating material. Additionally, these could be produce furniture, an additional advantage help, manage agriculture waste.
