Heat-shock proteins maintain the viability of ATP-deprived cells: what is the mechanism?

摘要: ATP depletion causes necrosis in mammalian cells. However, a previous heat shock can protect cells from the effects of energy deprivation, probably as result synthesis and accumulation heat-shock proteins (hsps). We propose that hsps ATP-depleted rapid necrotic death by inhibiting aggregation cytoskeletal occurs when is blocked.
