摘要: An empirical frictional correction factor to the isentropic nozzle model has been developed for application refrigerant leakage modeling in scroll, rotary and other similar compressors expanders. This is derived by calculating mass flow rate with a compressible, variable area, real gas properties referencing results an model. The ratio of flows correlated Reynolds number, characteristic length gap width. A representative selection fluids geometries are employed. For all correlations, at least 93% points predicted within absolute error band 20%.
