摘要: Abstract Homologous compounds of the linalool type R(CH 3 ) 2 El-OH (with R = C 6 H 5 CH and as well their derivatives El-OCH [R(CH El] O show, in dependence El C, Si, Ge Sn partly similar, but sometimes very different characteristics odor. Unexpected are high qualities fragrance with Ge, whereas remain scentless, obviously owing to polymerization. Noteworthy strong differences odor system El(CH from via Si up Sn, standing fully contrary postulation Amoore whereupon smell only controlled by size shape molecules. Sn(CH OH (A1Sn) crystallizes poly-μ-hydroxo-benzyldimethyltin an one dimensional SnOSnO chain (SnO 2.17(9) 2.29(9) A) monoclinic space group ( a 12.696(4), b 4.181(2), c 10.626(3) A β 106.8(3)°).
