摘要: This chapter addresses the issue of how to design better writing environments. I shall use phrase ‘writing environment’ mean writer’s surroundings (including resources and tools), also computer-based systems for composing documents. A central claim is that distinction will become increasingly blurred, as computer continues accommodate support more process. The written from perspective a software designer, but it argues new designs should be based on clear understanding practices writing. Writing such an integral part working life development not just matter solving technical problems, carrying out social organisational engineering.
