摘要: Abstract Li 1 + x (Ni 0.5 Mn ) − O 2 cathode material for Li-ion batteries has been prepared by a molten salt method using CO 3 salt. The influences of synthetic temperature and time have intensively investigated. It is easy to obtain materials with hexagonal α-NaFeO structure except broad peaks between 20° 25°. Nickel in oxidized trivalent state while manganese maintained tetravalent state. found that the discharge capacities all samples increase cycling. sample at 850 °C 5 h capacity 130 mAh g − 1 2.5 4.5 V versus V Li+/Li specific current 0.13 mA cm − 2 after 50 cycles 25 °C.
