摘要: Abstract In a recent study, we reported the detection of apoA-II associated with plasma high density lipoproteins pigs that were previously thought to lack or have this apolipoprotein in trace amounts. Dogs also been apolipoprotein; however, genomic data revealed gene for is present on chromosome 38. Prompted by finding, carried out detailed mass spectral measurements dog apo HDL. The molecular was obtained as well values proapoA-I, apoA-I, apoC-I. each case, measured found be excellent agreement corresponding weights calculated from data. Following reverse-phase chromatography, tryptic fragments selected fractions analyzed tandem spectrometry (MSMS). addition proapoA-I and apoA-II, enzymatic both apoC-II apoA-IV detected. Post-translational modification (PTM) involving glycosylation, oxidation single methionine acylation, noted. We report sequencing apoC-I using “Top Down” analysis.
