摘要: Summary The results of 650 liver scintiscans performed in a university teaching hospital have been analyzed with the aim relating scintigraphic appearance to clinicopathological disease context diagnostic management. Hepatic scintigraphy detected presence parenchymal, focal, or infiltrative 90% accuracy. various possible abnormalities, while by no means histologically diagnostic, occurred probabilities distinctive for each category. Analysis these data and sources erroneous interpretations light signal detection theory leads conclusion that pattern-reading methodology may inherently preclude further uncompensated improvement single aspect clinical performance. This is supported accuracy already on record it suggests development specific radiopharmaceutical agents merits high priority research planning.
