摘要: The applicability of spectrochemical analysis minute amounts powder samples was investigated using an ultraviolet Nd-YAG laser (355 nm) and low-pressure ambient air. A large variety chemical different composition were employed in the experiment. These included a mixture copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate, zinc sulfide, chromium(III) n-hydrate powders, baby powder, cosmetic gold films, supplement tablet, muds soils from areas. prepared by pulverizing original to average size around 30 μm order trap them tiny micro holes created on surface quartz subtarget. It demonstrated that all cases studied, good quality spectra obtained with low background, free undesirable contamination subtarget elements featuring ppm sensitivity. further measurement revealed linear calibration curve zero intercept. results clearly show potential application this technique for practical qualitative quantitative various fields study investigation.
