摘要: The large scale availability of haploids could offer plant breeders specific advantages for developing new crop cultivars (1). Although may be obtained through a number techniques, great deal attention is being given to anther culture as universal method haploid production. Under appropriate conditions, the microspores within anthers some species can induced undergo embryogenesis resulting in development differentiated embryos which resemble zygotic seed and from plants regenerated. Haploids have been cultures (2), but many instances their yield reliability production not satisfactory permit application breeding programs.
