摘要: Background Negative donation experiences, like being deferred or experiencing an adverse reaction, might upset blood donors, resulting in anticipatory stress responses such as elevated pressure at the subsequent visit. We therefore explored associations between donors’ negative experiences and their visit. Study Design Methods Blood of donors with no history three consecutive donations was compared to a experience during second donations. Blood (systolic diastolic) measured prior third two groups, using linear regression analyses. Two types (adverse reactions deferral) were analysed, stratifying for type sex, adjusting age predonation baseline. Results In total, 248 118 (50% female) included Eleven per cent (26 380 61% had experienced experience. Fainting dizziness associated significant (P < 0·05) increases systolic pressure: men, 3·0 mmHg (fainting) 2·0 mmHg (dizziness); women, 1·4 mmHg (dizziness). Deferral both (men: 0·7 mmHg, women: 0·3 mmHg) diastolic 0·2 mmHg, pressure. Conclusion Whole statistically higher This indicates that cause reaction donation.
