摘要: In ambient intelligence, pressure sensing can be used for detecting and recognizing objects based on their load profile. This paper presents a scanning technique that improves weight-based object recognition, by adding information about the surface of in contact with floor. The new high-resolution employs sub-pixel shifting to assemble series low-resolution scans into an aggregated scan. proposed device is composed 4 load-sensing tiles, which scanned slides regular movements. result grid image object's surface, containing weight each section grid, as well corresponding centers mass. A formal proof-of-concept provided, together experimental results obtained both noiseless simulated platform, noisy physical platform.
