摘要: Publisher Summary The Siberian craton extends from Lake Baikal on the south for over 2500 km to Arctic Ocean north, and Yenisey River west Sea of Okhotsk east borders are major Phanerozoic suture zones that formed during aggregation Pangea in late Paleozoic early Mesozoic. oldest is between southwestern margin Central Asia orogenic belt. This belt was by accretion Late Proterozoic arc systems beginning Riphean continuing into mid-Paleozoic. During this collision Devonian, Barguzin terrane composed rocks thrust onto southern craton. mid Mesozoic, terranes collided with Siberia along southeastern eastern (directions based present position) forming Mongolia-Okhotsk Verkhoyansk belts. Although western border covered Mesozoic cratonic sediments, geophysical data suggest presence a tectonic boundary subsurface Noril'sk.
