摘要: In this work, we introduce a cross-layer framework to favor the video-on-demand service in multi-hop WiMax mesh networks. We first propose joint solution of admission control and channel scheduling for video streams. The proposed approach guarantees that required data rate is achieved streams, which crucial multimedia streaming applications. An efficient light-weight multicast routing technique also minimize bandwidth cost joining tree. Furthermore, adopt Patching application layer improve capacity server. Overall, quality dramatically improved with help cooperation between techniques different layers network. Simulation study shows approach, true networks can be under high request arrival rate.
