摘要: We report a new class of highly active and stable tungsten-based catalysts to replace noble metal materials for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in an acidic electrolyte. The catalyst is produced by heating earth-abundant low-cost mixture ammonium tungstate, soybean powder graphene nanoplatelets (WSoyGnP). compound consists tungsten carbide (W2C WC) nitride (WN) nanoparticles decorated on nanoplatelets. demonstrates overpotential (η10, potential at current density 10 mA cm−2) 0.105 V, which smallest among HER media. coupling with significantly reduces charge transfer resistance increases surface area product, are favorable enhancing activity. Therefore, approach employing biomass other less expensive as precursors production high activity provides path design development efficient industry.
