摘要: In view of the increasing demand for metal use, it is significant importance to evaluate environmental impact production. The global warming potential (GWP) in process production has often been focused upon as a major indicator evaluating burden on environment. Moreover, and mineral exploitation arising from ore mining activities, which generate unavoidable mine wastes have an ecological biodiversity, cannot be ignored. factors determining intensity resource being grades strip ratio, existing indicators land use employed life cycle assessment (LCA) may not fully cover criteria system. Therefore, this study employs method total material requirement (TMR) assessment, involving only direct indirect inputs but also hidden flows, are particularly associated with wastes. Firstly, methodology computing TMR developed. Next, relation between GWP 58 metals assessed finally, through substitutes evaluated perspectives TMR. This analysis could identify some aspects overlooked previous that were concentrating greenhouse gas emissions warming. developed algorithm useful identifying appropriate substitutes, considering impact.
