摘要: This work presents a new approach for concrete plant operations optimization by combining ready mixed (RMC) production simulation tool (called HKCONSIM) with genetic algorithm (GA) based procedure. A revamped HKCONSIM computer system can be used to automate the model construction, conduct experiments on certain scenarios of site orders and resource provisions, optimize performance measures under stochastic environment. is suitable assisting RMC in its provision planning scheduling order meet given demands at number sites over working day, determine least costly, most productive amount truckmixer resources improve supply service level utilization available. To simulate does not require familiarity user any software-specific terminology modeling schematics; construction easily achieved specifying attributes each pour providing truck-mixer available self-explanatory on-screen forms. also two case studies optimizing daily Hong Kong's real data. Conclusions are research recommendations future made.
