摘要: A prospective study of 222 consecutive autopsies cancer cases was undertaken to investigate whether carcinomatous lymphangitis and pure arterial tumor embolism the lungs are different clinicopathological entities. The were removed as a block 15 sections (three from each lobe) analyzed. protocol containing clinical (ie, dyspnea, cyanosis, right ventricular failure, engorgement jugular veins, peripheral edema main cause death) morphological ventricle thickness dilatation, vascular sclerosis, pulmonary infarct) data carefully recorded in case. Arterial detected 19 (8.5%) 44 (19.8%). We found no differences relation signs symptoms lymphangitis, but respiratory distress death significantly more frequent with involvement by emboli. Morphologically, however, hypertrophy-dilatation, histological hypertension, hemorrhagic infarcts prevalent embolism. This permits us conclude that although clinically similar diseases, they morphologically Our results suggest most probable pathogenesis endarteritis subsequent hypertension is injury endothelium caused arrest
