摘要: Pixel-value differencing (PVD) based steganography is one of popular approaches for secret data hiding in the spatial domain. However, on extensive experiments, we find that some statistical artifacts will be inevitably introduced even with a low embedding capacity most existing PVD-based algorithms. In this paper, first analyze common limitations original PVD and its modified versions, then propose more secure content adaptive scheme. our method, cover image partitioned into small squares. Each square rotated by random degree 0, 90, 180 or 270. The resulting divided non-overlapping units three consecutive pixels, middle used embedding. number embedded bits dependent differences among pixels. To preserve local features, sort order pixel values remain same after hiding. Furthermore, new method can use sharper edge regions adaptively, while preserving other smoother adjusting parameter. experimental results evaluated large database show achieves much better security compared previous methods.
