Legislating for modal shift: background to the UK's new transport act☆

摘要: This paper reviews the background to recent changes in U.K. transport policy emanating from publication and passage of a Transport Bill December 1999 (HOC 1999). After review, some Bill's key proposals, such as public privatization, are discussed detail.
