QTL mapping for production traits in Czech Fleckvieh cattle

摘要: The objective of this study was to find QTL for milk production traits in Czech Fleckvieh cattle on chromosomes 6, 7, 11, 14, and 23 where were previously identified other dairy populations. Sixteen grandsire families genotyped 38 microsatellite markers the selected ch romosomes. A mapping model based variance component analysis implemented via restricted maximum likelihood (REML) estimate positions their effects. significant affecting fat percentage found at beginning chromosome 14 (0 cM), near marker ILSTS039. Suggestive associated with appeared studied (BTA6, BTA7, BTA11, BTA23). This first search five population showed several suggestive that can be promising further studies contribute better understanding genetics cattle.
