Predissociation of the Na2 3 3Πg and other triplet states

摘要: The Na2 3 3Πg state adiabatically dissociates to the 3s+4p atomic limit. levels below 3s+3d limit have been observed by perturbation facilitated optical–optical double resonance (PFOODR) fluorescence excitation spectroscopy. Energy above cannot be detecting molecular but are observable 3d→3p fluorescence. interacts with 2 3Πg state. At lower energy this interaction is responsible for many perturbations between bound vibrational of these two states. Above limit, as a result interaction, strongly predissociated and linewidths close about 22 cm−1. predissociation due an avoided crossing adiabatic states at R≈2.85 A. Weak 4 3Σg+ 2 3Δg also discussed.
